Student Poster Contest 2008 Guidelines
- Deadline: Low-resolution digital images need to be emailed to nicky@mcedv.org by May 1, 2008.
- Age: Students submitting artwork need to be 13 to 19 years of age.
- Content: The poster artwork must educate others with a message about the issue of teen dating violence.
- Submitting Artwork: Low-resolution digital images and photos of non-digital images can be emailed to nicky@mcedv.org. Winners will be notified by May 30, 2008 and asked to send high-resolution images of entries or original non-digital artwork.
- Contact Information: Each entry must include the artist's contact information such as name, address and phone number. Entries will not be considered until this information is received.
- Poster Size & Medium: Only original artwork will be considered. All poster mediums welcome. Do not mount, frame or laminate your entry.
- Copyrighted Images/Subjects: Release forms are required for any persons used in the artwork entry, whether public or private citizens. Download release forms from our website. Entries will not be considered until this information is received.
- MCEDV reserves the right to reject any entries. MCEDV also reserves the right to alter the final artwork for the final Teen Dating Violence Awareness poster design.
- No entries will be returned. All entries become the property of MCEDV.
- Entries may be displayed on www.myspace.com/mcedv.
- Winning entries will be used in creating Teen Dating Violence Awareness posters and will be distributed to area high schools, public libraries and other locations throughout Maine.
