Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2022: Act to End Abuse and Violence in Maine

MCEDV and our member programs recognize October as Domestic Violence Action Month. Domestic violence programs across Maine will host a variety of events and campaigns, honoring survivors and encouraging communities to move beyond awareness and take action to end domestic abuse. Follow MCEDV and your local domestic violence program directly for the most up-to-date information.

  • Liberation Fund Fundraiser – Donate to the Liberation Fund, MCEDV’s direct financial assistance program for survivors in Maine. Every dollar helps individuals and families overcome barriers to safety and freedom!

  • Waterville Creates – Family Violence Project, Waterville Creates, and Hinge Collaborative are teaming up to bring a free workshop for all ages! Come to an open drop-in workshop to create art with the intention of exploration, creation, and finding peace. Try your hand at printmaking in a relaxed and welcoming space at Ticonic Gallery and Studios. Great for all skill levels.
